Sakae sushi

If you're a  big fan of Japanese cuisine person, then I am sure you're at the right site, at the right time.

With the courtesy of Sakae Sushi and of course the one and only Advertlets, I was lucky enough to actually get the chance to try out Sakae Sushi's new and improved menu for 2012. Featuring with almost 30 tempting new creations alongside with their all-time Sakae favourite, well I have to say it is an extensive selection of new offering for 2012.

Shall we began the food fest!

1. Kaisen Salad (RM16.90)

The first dish that was served was the Kaisen Salad. The salad was served with tantalizingly fresh prawns, tunaflakes, snow crab leg and assorted vegetables served with creamy goma dressing. For me, it's definitely a great dish due to the fact that I am personally a salad person, so it's a good thumbs up with this dish. Not to mention, along with my favorite Japanese Goma dressing, what more can i ask for.

2. Inaro Avocado Ebi (RM7.99)

A dish that was served with a succulent whole prawn that is mixed with delicious vegetables and salad dressing, wrapped in sweet beancurd skin.

3. Sakae Blossom (RM9.99)

This has got to be my favorite among all 5 sushi. Even the name sounds damn good not to mention i really do love salmon alot. It's a intricately-designed roll of tempting grilled salmon, shrimp roe and mayonnaise on a delightful maki.

3. Ebi Crepe (RM5.99)

Luscious roll consisting of a whole cooked prawn with assorted vegetable and mayonnaise wrapped in a light crepe layer.

4. Hana Maki (RM9.99)

Salmon salmon and all salmon :). Beautifully crafted flower rolls with such delicate raw salmon petals and sushi rice centre topped with mayonnaise and a luxurious sprinkle of shrimp roe.

5. Soft Shell Crab Maki (RM5.99)

talking about soft shell crab, I remembered i used to ate Sakae Sushi's soft shell crab like ages ago, and i have to say, I instantly fell in love with that dish. For then onwards, I also have an good impression whereby everytime I see soft shell crab on the menu, I'll instantly ordered it. Now I ve got the chance to taste the mouth-watering maki creation of crispy soft shell crab, sweet beancurd, sushi rice and spicy mayonnaise, it's my pleasure I have to say.

6. Kaisen Pirikara Nabe (24.90)

It's good to always have a soup-base dish in every meal. Nonetheless, Sakae Sushi never missed to serve us appetising hotpot of prawns, cuttlefish, salmon, mushroom and assorted vegetables in flavorful kimchee soup. Yuums.

7. Hotate Mentaiyaki (RM20.90)

This I have to say, it's a pretty interesting dish. At first all I could think of was a normal scallop dish, however the taste did surprised me. It's actually a succulent half shell scallops grilled with cod fish roe. It was magnificent!

8. Curry Udon (RM12.90)

It's pretty obvious that Japanese curry is way , way, way different as compared to any other curry out there.Japanese curry has a taste of sweetness but still remains the curry flavor. Therefore, for all the people out there who loves and adore curry udon, no harm trying out Sakae Sushi's Japanese curry wheat noodles with chicken.

9. Desserts

Last but not least, we were served with ice cream with various kind of flavors, From left : Goma Ice cream (RM6.90), Matche Ice Cream (RM5.90), Grape Fruit Ice Cream (RM6.90) and Passion Fruit Ice Cream (RM5.90). My own personally favor would be Matcha and the Passion fruit.

Besides than introducing such delicious and delicated dishes, Sakae Sushi has also launched several promotions to commemorate the new menu as well. Newspaper readers can actually enjoy a special RM10 cash voucher valid with a minimum spend of RM25, with an additional free pink plate worth RN3.99 for any Citibank cardholders. Moreover, Facebook users will also be entitled to their share of freebies, by joining the Sakae Sushi Facebook fan page and taking part in various fun contests. :)

Aw, this was an exceptionally nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to
generate a very good article… but what can I say… I
hesitate a whole lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.
