I never really like wearing long pants or jeans because i tend to think i look weird in it. Jeans are meant to portray out the shape of the curves, but somehow the proportion of my body looks rather weird. However, i needed to dress up with a formal white shirt with black high-cut pants for an interview at KL. The whole entire entire looks rather solid and plain and simple. therefore i paired it with a leopard clutch to spice up the whole entire look.

Chinese New Year is a symbol of an actual new beginning of life,year and dreams. I am sure everyone have their very own favorite moment of Chinese New Year,well be it the reunion dinner, the visiting and as well as receiving red packets. :)

For me, what's best about Chinese New Year would be the part where everyone come together and "Lou Shang" :) Is a tradition that every Chinese New Year , it is a must to at least have one or more then one time of what we called " Lou Yi Shang'. Its my favorite moment of Chinese New Year because first of all, it gathers every single one in your family to the table, and second of all it is a time where everyone can make a wish and hope that their dreams would come true. Your wish could be about career, education, marriage, relationship, health and wealth as well. And lastly, that dish there ..taste damn good :)

So that practically summarize why i chose this picture for the Petronas Reimagining Photography Contest.My theme for this picture would definitely be " Lou Yi Shaang AHHH !!"

How is 2012 been treating you so far ? Well for me it's been pretty good and fine, i guess. Just that i am feeling abit outdated because i ve been missing out so much fun with the bunch that i normally attend events with. Work and freelance job has definitely took up partially or maybe half of my time. Not to mention, i have been treating my house more like a hotel now. I ll sleep through the morning breeze and wake up in the late afternoon and out before sunrise. Its like i am an owl but a human owl. I don't get to see my parents often, and hmm it's starting to be an issue for them now. They nag but not mad, and it frustrates me more. Who like to get nag when youre so damn tired by the time you got home from work? Hopefully when college starts, which is exactly one month from now, things will go better. My biologically clock is pretty damn screwed up now, how am i ever gonna get used waking up 7am in the morning when i ve been waking up so late almost for more than a month. Major got owned by that now!.

I always think that Chinese New Year commercial always , as in like always never fail to portrait out good value of life. For the pass few year, PETRONAS has created and filmed many heart warming and heart catching Chinese New Year commercial.

Don't you people just have that feeling whereby you're so into the commercial that sometime you'll reflect it on yourself and putting yourself in the shoes of the characters? For me by far the PETRONAS Chinese New Year commercial was my favourite.

Well this year, how could PETRONAS ever missed a chance to bring everyone a step closer to their family once again. This year, PETRONAS did it again with their lasted Chinese New Year Commercial.

This Chinese New Year, PETRONAS stays true to the common tradition and values that brings and gather all the Malaysians together in the underlying messages of its television commercial (TVC) to usher the year of the Golden Dragon. The whole entire 2 minutes plus of the video actually summarize the idea of ' Coming Home' and stick to you roots and tradition no matter where you are.

The video was shot in Malaysia, England, Belgium, China and India consisting with six separate yet intertwining stories of each individuals around the world, who no matter how far they have come in life, always stay true to their roots and traditions. Thats what i find it interesting much, all this years PETRONAS have been advertising about family love and appreciation. This time round i guess it's a little different, that's what attracts me in it.

Through the commercial, the stories revolves around with a few individuals, as i have mention, living all around the world. Among others, the stories revolve around a dentist posted to a rural part of India celebrating the New year with his family in his home country via Skype, follow by a little boy in China who struggle to work hard just to earn some money for his family just so he could have having a simple dinner with his family during Chinese New Year. Same goes to a young girl in London working two jobs to earn a living and still yet able to ' celebrate' Chinese New Year with her extended family, which is her customer.

The purpose of the TVC is to show that in life, there are many struggles and obstacles that we are bound to come across. For example, be it working for two jobs at once or having to be the head of the family at a young age. It's how each of these individuals or us have to adapts to the changing times, and those challenges into opportunities. Changing the negative to positive.

“The TVC is meant to celebrate not just the Year of the Dragon, but the spirit of perseverance, adaptability and determination as captured in each of the stories it depicts. This energy is something that should inspire us all as we navigate through the challenges we face in life,” said PETRONAS’ Senior General Manager of Group Corporate Affairs Division, Dato Mohammad Medan Abdullah.

“It is this innate spirit of resilience, energy to see opportunity, energy to go on, improve and move on while staying true to our values that we wanted to portray in our TVC. It is this same spirit that forms the core of PETRONAS’ corporate positioning, Reimagining Energy™ which emphasises and celebrates the resilience of the human spirit to excel in whatever we do. ” he added, speaking at a special media preview of the TVC.

A little live journal here about a trip down to Singapore, and now i am starting to miss that small little island which is so close yet so far from me.I like the feel of walking along Orchard road and see how the city is filled with people walking around and building filled with unique architecture and concept. Ahh how i wish i could stay alil longer with more cash. Daumn, the shopping there is awesome.

A self ripped shirt pairing with a leopard print shorts ;) I love ripped shirt all this while, i have tried making and DIY one before, unfortunately my attempt failed. Neh i did not make this by myself, it was made by my hun who somehow presented it to me . Is either he couldnt wear it or he didnt want it anymore. Well its nice afterall so i just took it hahah :)

Basically this was what i wore for Chic Pop 10th Installation. This time round, i have definitely burned a hole in my pocket. Catching up with my hun during the weekend was really a fun thing to do. Every since our new semester start, the changes of us seeing each other has gradually decrease. Imagine we used to see each other every single day to seeing each other perhaps once a week. Thats, a big change. But well that day was abit rushy , as i have to rush from one location to another location.

Despite it was such a rushy date, but at least it was nice catching with him and wearing my favorite skirt :) Loving the pleated skirt that i bought few weeks ago, and i didnt have the time to pair and wear it. But i am pretty satisfied with the whole entire look that day. I have to thank non other than Supre and Stephanie for sending such beautiful sheer top for me :) I am finding myself wearing it quite often :) Moreover, check out Beyond Your Own Brand as well :)

It was a good combination to match the sheer top and the black pleated skirt with my beloved black and white oxford shoe. My daddy still claims its a boy shoe !! Daddy , it's not okay :p . Dont you think its so cute :) & going along with the bag from my mum :) Old vintage bag, me likey !

I was abit down, despite i lost the one and only and most meaningful thing to me that day. The moment i found out it was gone, my mood when from super energetic to super drain away. I guess the snakeskin blazer cheered me up. :)

Went for their press conferences before the concert. I thought i was early but well, i guess i was wrong. The queue outside the stage was massive. All the fans well lining up to get their asses in for the concert. :)

Didnt know the girls' mum was also a breast cancer victim. Was listening to their stories about their mum and how they finally get to overcome it. No doubt, i felt alil emotional at that part . But overall its was good, they sang their famous " Officially Missing You'. ' Price Tag' , ' Just The Way You Are', and many more

I am a happy girl now :) Finally finished my all my 2nd assignment. I deserve some rest man , with a cup of hot coffee and Vampire Diaries right infront of me :) It's good to see how my hard work is finally done ! My gay marriage video is done, my eating healthily video is done, my thousand words essay is done as well. Such a pain in the ass to finish up the essay, but ohh well Amanda Liu Ming Na, you finally did it :) Though assignment is done, but it's still going to be a busy weekend for me , but i am doing something i like. So, why not?

Yesterday night, Mr Winston my beloved Ex-lecturer fb msg me to help out for a photoshoot for Taylor's SOC brochure ! Wheee ;) i mma gonna appear in the brochure :) It was a fun shoot knowing the Diploma students and there's still shooting for tomorrow as well. :) && Thanks Dominic from ALEXIS , Vol 007 issue is out this Friday !

I dont think i need much introduction about them, do i?

You've heard them singing on youtube, seen their picture, knowing them as one of Youtube famous comedian, KevJumba and Ryan Higga's, and Youtube famous sensation, David Choi's friend. At least, that's what i think them to be if you ask me what pops out of my mind the first thing you mention Jayesslee.

They are the one and only, famous Youtube Twin Sensation - Janice & Sonia.

It's pretty ironic how i get to know them. I overheard their cover of "Officially Missing You" as i was surfing through one of my friend's blog years back. Immediately, i couldn't get that song out of my head. Till now, it's still one of my favorite song from them. Thus, knowing them coming down to Malaysian this weekend, the feeling is ... :D.

Sometimes being busy is not really a bad thing afterall. I have been busy filming, doing and editing videos and essay for the pass one week, and trust me it has never been that hectic before. Knowing that i have 2 video, one essay, one fact sheet design, one magazine spread sheet design and a magazine style guide all due on the same day. That's insane for sure. Not to mention i have tonnes of upcoming workloads to finish up, but as for that i have to put it as side and worried more on the upcoming ones. It's just too overwhelming as times, but it gives me an excuse to clear my mind off.

It seems like furs and skins are the latest trends now. Its hard to find fur coats or any fur garments here because its so obvious that it's humid country that shines almost everyday. Sometimes i do envy people who lives in the cold country, at least they have the advantage to wear coats, like furry fluffy coats. :) Pweettyy . Anyhow, been spotting some skins garment and bags lately in the magazine and also shops around the mall. They are so pretty and tempting. I do always have a thing for prints, skins, furs :) So fluffy !

You know how i like it when every single time i opened up my mail, there's always a surprise awaits me? It does puts on a smile on my face to read those emails.Thinking about how i used to be a girl who only likes to wear t shirt and shorts and dont even give a damn about make up or even bother to wake up early in the morning just to dress up. It's funny how things change, but at least is part of what i enjoy and it seems i am still having fun with it. I tend to miss it when i neglect it, ironic isnt it.

After so long , the hat from f block is still my all time favorite accessory if i have to choose a head wear. I don't usually look good with caps or hat but i guess this fits me perfectly well. And lately i ve finding myself wearing this amazing multiple armor ring from Forever 21, i have to say that they do have pretty amazing rings at a cheaper range as compared to Diva. :)

I love how the pink stands out in every single picture. Truly a good steal from the bazaar street stall that was held in my college. My college has definitely turned into my shopping spree. Despite they only have it once a while but hey they do sell clothes at the commercial block :)

Always been a fan of maxi dresses. But trust me i cant never find the right and suitable length for me. Sometimes it's either too short or i just dont like the pattern and design. Talking about maxi dresses, i have to say Forever 21 lastest maxi dress collection was attractive. Filled with flora and vibrant colors. So i saw this long grey maxi dress hanging on a rack of colour dresses, and it immediately caught my attention.

MAHSA College Open Day

MAHSA was well established as MAHSA College in the year of 2005 with a strong belief that a higher education in the field of healthcare was a vital, essential and imperative cog in the development of the nation.

MAHSA is the brainchild of Professor Datuk Dr. Hj. Mohamed Haniffa who is the Pro-Chancellor and the Executive Chairman of the University College

The Pro-Chancellor. himself is a clinical practitioner of Medicine and believed in creating qualified, competent and caring healthcare professionals to address the acute shortage of healthcare professionals in Malaysia.

Last Saturday, with the courtesy of Advertlets and MAHSA College, i along with other Advertlets blogger had the opportunity to attend the once of a life time MAHSA First Aid Workshop.

Didnt know that i actually get to learn CPR and helping a really lucky male mannequin doing CPR. Interesting isnt it ?

It doesn't required much step to learn CPR and First Aid. You would be surprise that by learning these skills, you could actually save a person life. All you need to do is stay clam, check your surrounding and perform the CPR and First Aid.

Besides that , after the CPR and First Aid workshop and lunch, we proceed to the next session which is touring around the campus. It's interesting to see the laboratory and classroom filled with preserved animals and organs part. For me the most interesting room was the dissection hall.

I found myself in an exciting mood to check out the Cadaver Storage Room where preserved crops is places inside the room. I know, how ironic right, some people would choose not to see but for me i would indeed be the first to volunteer to see :)

This is so ... cool. Instantly amazed when i first saw it in the laboratory . Seeing how babies grow from a tiny foetus to a well form baby, its really magical. Thats why it caught my attention.

This picture is rather disturbing, looked closely and you can see how they dissect ... the body.

And this was ...woah. getting so close to a .. dead-perserved-arm/lungs , it's pretty mind blowing. At least for me it is. You could actually see the veins , muscle in such a detail form. I have to say , it was a mind blowing experience to be in that campus

Therefore, to all the potential doctors and pharmacist that wish to pursue in medical studies, what are you waiting for?

The other day, right after dinner, i suddenly have this urge to do mini shoot. So i drag my brother and showed him the type of shoot that i was looking for :)

& tadaaa ;)

However, i instantly felt fat after seeing the pictures. I can see extra meat every part of my body hiding under my skin.:(

I feel so big size there but at least the shoot turn out pretty fine :).

A day to look forward too.

Last weekend, it was indeed a hectic day for me as i was so pack with loads of work to do on that day.

Nicholas Kew my beloved friend decided to have another fun photo shoot at his area once again.

I was having this ballerina feel for the day , so i started ransacking my closet to find the perfect top to match with this chiffon skirt.

I wanted to pair it with a dropped off shoulder over-sized top but it did not embrace the feel that i was looking for. Not to mention i was already late , and they were waiting for me , and my hair was still soaking wet after a bath with no make up on at all.

So i finally found the right tube leopard dress. Yes it was a body hugging dress and i managed to fold up the end so it looks shorter and wouldnt be so obvious when i wear it with the skirt

and tadaaa this is how i look :)

Despite i have to climb into this big drain but i still manage to suck it up :)

Claw You Up

Even i cant remember how long have I been eyeing on claw rings and bracelet .Its hard to find such rings when you know not everyone likes the partner of it. Some people just feels odd wearing those type of rings.

Like my mum said, i always have weird taste in cloths, accessories and stuff. Ohh well , at least i know i am content and happy with what i like :)

Isnt it beautiful :) Thanks to cheryl from Cherished who ask me to check out this blogshop call Delirious Accessories because they do sell claw rings. My instant reaction was straight away order it with no hesitation. However, they ask me to check out they store boutique at Asian Avenue. So i went and apparently it sold out. Not that i know that my beloved Emilie heard me mentioning about it , and she went over to bought for me instead. Which means she bought the last one for me. Thanks jimui, i love you :).

In to my rings collection now :)

So now, its time to hunt for claw bracelet:)

Hennessy Artistry 2011 - Mist Club Bangsar

Once again, Hennessy Artistry is back with more excitement and fun for everyone. The event took place at Mist Club Bangsar on the 30th of July 2011.

The night was well accompanied with free flow of drinks and not to mention , great and amazing performance for everyone. It's definitely one hell of an event they you wont want to miss out.
